Trinity Pension Consultants was established in 2006 by friends and colleagues Anthony Warren and Kevin Bergdorf. Both had worked for a local third-party administration firm and in the corporate financial world. Their experiences led them to realize there was a need for a TPA firm that had a fresh perspective on what financial advisors needed and wanted. Trinity's OPEN solution means clear communication, building relationships, and understanding the clients' businesses and challenges in order to design a plan that puts their needs first.

Kevin A. Bergdorf, CPC, QPA
Kevin has nearly 15 years in the retirement plan industry, beginning with his Participant Services tenure at Charles Schwab. While at Schwab, he passed all five of the ASPPA exams within six months and passed level one of the CFA program. Kevin then moved to a local TPA firm as the Director of Administration where he was responsible for the corporate finances and had oversight of the entire Defined Contribution department, including administration and employee development. In the spring of 2006, Kevin felt the urge to broaden his horizon again by starting his own TPA firm, but one with a fresh perspective on what financial advisors needed and wanted. Kevin is in charge of building the company’s proprietary systems, infrastructure and also acts as a mentor to the employees. Kevin also manages relationships for Trinity’s Defined Benefit clients. Kevin’s goal is to grow the company through more efficient and profitable systems, and to maintain the balance of company’s employee culture of achievement and family. Kevin lives in Green, Ohio with his wife and two children. He enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, traveling, music and target shooting.
Anthony J. Warren, QKA
Like many business owners today, Anthony started out in financial services at the very bottom. For him, this meant processing loans for qualified retirement plans at Charles Schwab. Shortly thereafter, Anthony and his friend and co-worker, Kevin Bergdorf, left the company to join a local TPA firm. In this new venture, Anthony saw a need for a better client conversion process and took it upon himself to help assimilate new clients to the firm. As he built relationships with these clients and their associated financial professional, he began to take on more of a consulting role for financial advisors and became an expert on retirement plan design. During this time his entrepreneurial spirit had the opportunity to grow, and in March of 2006, Anthony and Kevin left the firm and began Trinity Pension Consultants. At Trinity, Anthony is responsible for communicating Trinity’s value proposition to the marketplace and the corporate vision to the employees. He also manages relationships both in sales and on the client side. Anthony’s goals for Trinity are two-fold; as the company grows he wants to continue to nurture the Trinity family and culture while expanding the Trinity brand geographically. Anthony lives in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio with his wife and three children. In his free time, he water-skis, hunts, runs and enjoys college football in the fall.
